Familia Lizaraso, 250g

The bag is smaller than I thought it’d be, but 250g goes a long way with my pour-over. That milk chocolate sweetness comes through exactly as described, and it’s easily the smoothest Peruvian coffee I’ve tried this month.

Brewed this in my V60 this morning and the milk chocolate notes came through exactly as described, with a nice raisin sweetness that lingers. The hazelnut adds just enough complexity without overpowering the cup. Perfect balance for a filter brew.

The raisin and hazelnut notes really come through in a V60—it’s sweet but balanced, not acidic at all. The 250g bag lasted me about two weeks of daily morning brews, and it stayed fresh till the last scoop.
