Took a while to finally replace my worn-out cap, and the fit on this one is almost too snug—I actually had to twist a bit harder than usual the first time, but now it locks in perfectly with zero leaks during a full brew.

The threading is tight enough that the cap stays put during a full press, though it did take a couple of tries to get it perfectly aligned the first time. Works as expected for a replacement part, and brewing feels back to normal now.
