The flat bottom of these filters really does the heavy lifting—my single-origin brews taste noticeably cleaner with zero muddy sediment in the cup. Drawdown stays steady from start to finish, which makes dialing in a new bean way less frustrating.
First brew with these and the drawdown was noticeably slower and steadier than my old filters, which made the cup taste cleaner with none of that muddy finish. The ribbed sides really do keep the paper from collapsing against the brewer walls, so I didn't have to fiddle with it once.
